The basic idea of he proposal is to collect and relate place around the courtyards that are formed when surrounding the existing building. Natural and resolutely placed the new structure as a perimeter gallery to existing Vikingskipshus and perfects the back room as the existing building suggests.
The structure consists of a band of diamond-like forms bearing concrete, the voids between diamaterna filled bronze colored glass. The band becomes a gallery. When you stand outside the New Time Viking Museum allows it, between the diamonds, discern both the artifacts on display in the gallery, the public courtyard and in the background the recognition the building.
